Twa-Day: Day 23

My right ass cheek hurts like a mother fucker and I don't even get to say it's cause some hot guy's been spanking it during kinky sex, cause a) I haven't been having kinky sex, and b) I haven't been having any sex of late. My delicate loins and my even more delicate psyche are almost all healed up from the last steam-rolling they got, and since neither of them had the benefit of a simultaneous assault, I've had a lot of de-flattening to do the last couple of months. Needless to say, the new Sade album couldn't have arrived at a better moment.*

As for the pain in half my ass, I think I figured out the source while doing my second handstand tonight. I was fine when I tried one right after yoga class. I think it may have even been graceful; all floaty and effortless and...stuff (I wanted to say shit, but it didn't seem very zen, and I'm nothing if not a bundle of zen). But when I got home and tried going up again, I noticed that I always launch off my right foot, and then come crashing down on the same side, usually grace-free, so I end up with a tweaked out hip impact thing that's finally absorbed enough abuse in the last 22 days to register its extreme displeasure. I think this is what athletes refer to as a sports related boo boo.**

So, I'm taking my sore ass to bed, where I can dream of kinky sex while Sade lulls me to a surreal, yet oddly sensual slumber. That's the plan, anyway.
